Woodland Inspections

The purpose for a woodland inspection is to initially address the potential for land management. The inspection answers questions such as which tree species are present, what the overall condition of the forest is, what treatment options are practical for the maintenance of the trees, and whether or not there are any access issues.

This information is collected by walking and/or driving on roads throughout the tract.  This is a service that offers a basic overview only.
For a more comprehensive report, please refer to the tract assessment or forest management plan.

If you own land inside the Greater Cadillac, Michigan area, a woodland inspection may be offered to you at no charge.  Just use the conact link above to make an appointment.  There is no obligation.

If you own land outside the Greater Cadillac, Michigan area, or if you are considering purchasing land nearby, but want to know the attributes of it first, this service is offered at an hourly rate plus travel expenses if overnight stay is required.  I may extend the no charge offer to those who own land in close proximity to areas I happen to be traveling to, so please check to see if I will be in the area soon.
